TO BHAG or not to BHAG

My Big Hairy Audacious Goal

Learners will utilize the educational technology to enhance the learning environment to enable the histology students to pass the American Society of Clinical Pathologist Board of Registry Certification Exam with a score better than 80% of examinees in the same test cycle.

Below are how I plan to address the Learning Goals, Learning Activities, and Assessment Activities that are needed to reach my BHAG.

Learners will take the foundational knowledge and apply it in a practical setting to solve problems that can/will arise in the laboratory.

 

Use actual problems and scenarios they had in the lab while in clinicals rotations and learn to solve them

Integration 1

Learners will analyze their clinical rotations and determine which areas of problem solving would impact learning the best.

 

 

The learners will produce a list of situations that they have had trouble with while in clinical rotations

Learners will create scenarios in how the flipped classroom with collaboration will be best utilized for preparing for the Board of Certification exam
